Mops International purpose statement:
MOPS International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother and leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
This purpose is accomplished primarily through relationships built among mothers as they interact , share ideas, encourage each other and find that they are not alone.
The goal of MOPS is to assist churches in providing Christ-centered, caring ministry for mothers of preschoolers, led by MOPS women, which develops friendships, creativity and leadership training. The MOPS group is not a Bible Study; rather, it involves instruction relating to family, relationships, marriage, child-rearing and womanhood based on Biblical principles.
